RISE started in 2019 as a Check & Connect Program called Conexiones which supported Latino/a students through mentoring. With more support needed, it has grown into a robust program with community partners located throughout Rice County. RISE strives to support students through middle school and into high school, as well as giving them the tools needed to pursue post-secondary schooling. At the High School, RISE has two Coordinators and two Promise Fellows. The Middle School has one Coordinator. At both schools, we are proudly serving 162 students.
