RISE started in 2019 as a Check & Connect Program called Conexiones which supported Latino/a students through mentoring. With more support needed, it has grown into a robust program with community partners located throughout Rice County. RISE strives to support students through high school and give them the tools they need to pursue post-secondary schooling. The RISE team is composed of nine individuals who proudly serve 260 students.
RISE is part of Opportunity Reboot, which is funded by Youthprise in support of high school graduation and career pathways for youth disconnected from education and/or employment.
